MBR Machinery is not an algorithmic listings portal. We are the dealer who inspects the machine in person, negotiates the price, coordinates delivery — and has to stand behind the outcome.

How MBR came to be
MBR Machinery was founded in February 2020 by Marcel Brockmann — an entrepreneur with more than ten years of experience in financing, receivables management and credit risk, who had previously generated some €50M+ in revenue in the machine-tool sector for previous employers. The logical next step: his own company, with own capital, on own account. Location: Eschborn near Frankfurt. Structure: fully decentralised and agile.
The foundation has been the same since day one: in-person on-site inspection, documented condition, honest communication and transactions with no surprises — neither for the buyer nor for the seller. That principle hasn't changed. With the addition of Lucas Agustí as COO — an industrial and electrical engineer who, as project manager, has been technically and logistically responsible for 500+ machine relocations — the team today brings 15 years of combined expertise in machine-tool trade and heavy transport.
What MBR Machinery actually does
MBR Machinery operates as an active dealer — not a listings portal. Concretely: we buy machines, inspect them, negotiate prices, take over logistics and deliver to end customers throughout Europe and beyond. At the same time, we broker machines between sellers and qualified buyers where direct purchase isn't the optimal model.
Our four core areas are:
- Acquisition and valuation — We buy individual machines and complete machine pools. Our offers are market-appropriate, fast and binding. Sellers receive a valuation within 24 hours — no back-of-envelope estimates.
- Inspection and documentation — Every purchase is preceded by an inspection: geometry, control system, spindle, alarm history. Every machine receives a condition report transparently available to the buyer. No surprises after closing.
- Trade and brokerage — Our platforms usedcnc.de, ankaufcncmaschinen.de and machinetools.auction are specialised channels — for buyers, sellers and auction interest. Behind every channel stand the same people and the same infrastructure.
- Logistics and export — MBR coordinates packaging, load securing, international forwarding and export documentation. We deliver into 25+ countries — including Turkey, Mexico, the USA and the MENA region.

Why trust isn't a marketing word
In machine-tool trade, transactions are consequential decisions. A buyer acquiring a CNC lathe doesn't need a promise — they need evidence. That's why we document every inspection step, name defects openly and provide machine history and control-system parameters before a purchase decision is made.
That's not standard in the used market. Many dealers sell what looks good on paper. MBR sells what actually runs — and takes responsibility when something doesn't.
