Recovery Alliance
A machine you can't place locally
sells internationally —
if you have the logistics for it.
The Recovery Alliance is an open dealer alliance: members share MBR's worldwide freight, customs expertise and buyer network across three continents. No membership fee, no territorial exclusivity — you only pay when a trade actually closes.
What members concretely gain
Worldwide freight at pass-through cost
OOG, flatrack, container, crate — members book through MBR's established freight network with no markup. You pay what the carrier charges us.
Customs and export handled, no in-house build
Certificates of origin, HS codes, ATA carnets, dual-use clarification, CE conformity on re-import. MBR's back office runs it; you sell.
Buyer reach across 15+ countries
Members bring machines in; MBR places them internationally — DACH, Iberia, Mercosur. You enter markets without operating in them.
Branding as a Recovery member
Registered members display the "Member of the Recovery Alliance" badge on their own website — a visible trust signal to sellers and buyers.
How the Alliance works
The used-machine-tool trade is regionally fragmented. A German dealer holds a Hermle that's oversupplied in DACH — in Brazil the same machine would be a premium asset. But most dealers don't build their own logistics department for 15 countries, no customs team, no direct sales channel into Mercosur. The Alliance fills that gap: members bring machines in, MBR runs the international leg.
What MBR handles
- Inspection and market-based valuation — you know in advance what the machine is worth internationally.
- Packaging, dismantling, freight — at the carrier's pass-through cost, no markup.
- Customs, export, re-import — all documents and clarifications from a single source.
- Buyer placement through the MBR ecosystem — usedcnc.de, compramostucnc.es, machinetools.auction, plus regional direct sales.
- Contract handling and payment security.
What the member retains
Ownership of the machine stays with the originating dealer until sale. You set minimum prices. Brokerage margin is calculated transparently and only billed on closed trades — no acquisition on our risk, no loss from inventory tie-up.
No exclusivity, no fee
Multiple members per country are welcome. There is no membership fee — the Alliance earns only when the member earns. The point is reach, not territorial protection.
