Case Study
Roeders machining center
→ Croatia to Austria
This project describes the sale of a Roeders machine from Croatia to an innovative Austrian mould-maker: fully verified, delivered on schedule, and supported through installation — so the machine becomes reliably productive at destination.

1. Starting point
An innovative Austrian mould-maker needed a Roeders solution with the typical precision bandwidth for tool and injection-mould work. In parallel a suitable machine sat in the Croatian market — with the usual challenge: condition must be reliable before purchase, and the chain from export to transport to handover in Austria must be documented end-to-end.
MBR was engaged because we hold such EU corridors together technically and logistically: from inspection and verification through contract and documentation to delivery and accompanying installation at the Austrian site.
2. Verification in Croatia
Before purchase, the machine was qualified on site by MBR. Focus areas included controller access and software versions, spindle behaviour, axis behaviour and tool changer — supplemented by metrology sampling where this makes geometric reliability defensible for mould work.
The result was a documented condition and a clear purchase recommendation — so the Austrian buyer had a traceable technical basis before final release.
3. Transport Croatia → Austria
MBR coordinated dismantling and loading, heavy transport and consistent freight documentation. In parallel, hall access, crane capacity and handover points at the Austrian site were aligned in advance — so the machine doesn't wait "at the door" but moves predictably into the production hall.
4. Delivery and supported installation
After arrival MBR supported the installation and integration into the mould-maker's production flow — including the interfaces typical of a cross-border handover (documentation, parameter sets, service access).
5. Result
The Roeders machine was sold from Croatia to Austria — fully verified, delivered, with supported commissioning. The project photo captures the core: the machine at the Austrian mould-maker's site, technically and logistically where it becomes economically productive.
